Job summary

Harris Federation in London is seeking an experienced compliance professional to lead the newly created Quadrant Compliance Manager role. You will oversee compliance across the South Quadrant, traveling to academy sites and partnering with the South Quadrant Assistant Director and Academy Principals to drive robust, best-practice processes.

The role focuses on strategic and academy-level compliance development, safeguarding a culture of constant excellence with learning at its centre.

Qualifications

• At least five years' experience in an office environment.
• At least two years' experience of managing a team.
• Education to degree level or equivalent.
• Good verbal and written communication with stakeholders.
• Knowledge of health and safety legislation.
• Knowledge of human resources legislation and procurement processes.
• Professional qualification e.g. CIPD or equivalent to NVQ Level 4 is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead on compliance work across the South Quadrant and ensure all academies are compliant with statutory requirements at all times.
• Support specialist staff in each academy to take responsibility for statutory compliance at a local level.
• Provide specialist professional development in areas of compliance for academy staff.
• Liaise with the Federation central team to address compliance issues quickly and effectively.
• Oversee Quadrant FSM/Pupil Premium, Medical & First Aid, Asset and Contract Register, Health & Safety, Safer Recruitment, project management, and lettings.
