Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group is seeking a Sous Chef to join Greenholme House Care Home in Burley in Wharfedale. You will support the Head Chef in delivering nutritionally balanced meals and supervising a culinary team to ensure quality within budget.

Qualifications

• Hold a relevant catering qualification (City & Guilds 706/1 and 706/2 or NVQ or equivalent).
• Have a minimum of 1 year of catering experience.
• Demonstrate compassion and commitment to high-quality culinary services for residents.
• Be adaptable to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.

• Lead and support the culinary team under the Head Chef.
• Prepare modified diets that look appealing and balanced per IDDSI guidance.
