Sous Chef - Private Members Restaurant (Monday to Friday) - London


Searcys is seeking a Sous Chef to join their team at the Honourable Society of The Inner Temple, working in the private members' restaurant.

The role involves deputising for the Senior Sous Chef and managing the Pegasus kitchen, supporting daily kitchen operations. This position is Monday to Friday.

The Honourable Society of The Inner Temple, located on the Thames and featuring a Georgian-style event hall and a three-acre private garden, is one of Searcys' most prestigious venues.

Job Description

The Sous Chef will ensure food quality and consistency, following approved recipes for the private members' restaurant.

Salary: £37,000 plus gratuities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing product ordering, HACCP, Health & Safety, and daily kitchen operations.
  • Overseeing all aspects of A La Carte lunch and dinner service.
  • Organising stock and ingredients, managing waste and food costs.
  • Maintaining storage standards.
  • Contributing to menu development and new dish creation.
