Hand Picked Hotels in Redhill, Surrey, is seeking a Senior Sous Chef for Nutfield Priory Hotel & Spa. The role offers a full-time, permanent position with a 5-day week and weekend rotation, delivering refined dining in a rosette/Michelin‑caliber environment.

You will collaborate with the Head Chef to maintain exceptional standards, mentor the kitchen team, manage stock and costs, and ensure superb presentation across all dining outlets and private events.

Qualifications

• Strong Sous Chef or Senior Sous Chef experience within a multi-outlet rosette/michelin hotel environment.
• Exposure to weddings, bespoke events and private dining with a focus on precision and organisation.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of an exceptional culinary experience for guests.
• Work closely with the Head Chef to oversee food preparation and service.
• Assist with menu delivery across the hotel and private dining events.
• Manage kitchen operations, stock, costs and supplier relations; train the culinary team.
