Job Description
Sous chef required for a Rosette establishment in the Lake District. This kitchen has a great reputation in the foodie market in the Lakes. They offer off-site live-in accommodation (please note transport is required). The restaurant specializes in gastro-style food and has won numerous awards. It serves 60 covers across the restaurant and lounge/bar area. The property also features a garden. This role is ideal for a senior sous chef or junior sous chef looking to step up, as the Head Chef is highly experienced. The successful candidate will cover days off and provide additional support in the kitchen, making it a perfect stepping stone role.

The role
As a Sous Chef, you will run a section and cover the pass when the Head Chef is off. You will ensure the food maintains Rosette standards and the kitchen operates smoothly. When managing a section, you will prepare your area, and when on the pass, you will oversee the small kitchen to ensure all functions well. This role includes all standard Sous Chef duties.

Experience
We are seeking a Sous Chef with a background in fresh food, ideally with Rosette experience. Candidates should currently be a Sous Chef or a Senior Chef de Partie/junior Sous Chef ready to step up. You must be able to drive, as transport is not provided and accommodation is off-site.
