Job summary

Correo Lounge in the UK is seeking a Sous Chef to lead kitchen shifts, supporting the Head Chef and ensuring every dish meets our high standards. You will guide the team from prep through to service, taking ownership of stock, waste and handovers.

You’ll lead by example, coach chefs, and help them grow their skills. This full‑time role offers progression, overtime, bonuses and strong team culture.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Sous Chef or senior chef ready to take the next step.
• Leads by example in the kitchen and maintains high standards.
• Reliable, punctual and ready to support the Head Chef.

Responsibilities

• Lead kitchen shifts, ensure smooth service from prep to final plate.
• Support Head Chef and step in during absence to maintain results.
• Maintain high standards on the pass for quality, pace, cleanliness and safety.
• Own key routines: prep, par, stock control, waste, orders and handovers.
• Coach and develop team members and foster confidence and skill growth.
