Job summary

Signature Senior Lifestyle Ltd is seeking a Sous Chef for our luxury care and nursing home in Reigate. The role places you second to the Head Chef, ensuring every meal is nutritious and restaurant quality, while leading the Chef de Partie and Commis Chef and contributing to menu development.

The position requires a minimum of five years’ kitchen experience, supervisory capability, and COSHH awareness, with NVQ Level 2/3 in Food Hygiene or Catering Services.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience working in a kitchen.
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Food & Hygiene or Catering Services.
• Supervisory experience and COSHH awareness.

Responsibilities

• Second in command to Head Chef, ensuring meals are nutritious and restaurant quality.
• Manage and develop Chef de Partie and Commis Chef.
• Assist Head Chef in reviewing and developing the menu.
