Job summary

Destination Inns is seeking a dedicated Sous Chef to join our long-established, family-run team. You will work in a busy kitchen, deliver a high standard of food, and support the Head Chef with day-to-day operations and staff development.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a busy kitchen is essential.
• Willing to develop and take on responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the food concept to company standard and exceed guest expectations.
• Oversee food stock control including ordering, deliveries, stock takes and wastage control.
• Support the Head Chef in the smooth running of the kitchen and deputise in their absence.
• Train and develop the kitchen team to reach their potential.
• Ensure Food Safety and Health & Safety compliance in line with law and policy.
