Job description

Fundamental Hospitality is looking to hire an experienced Sous Chef to join our award - winning team at GAIA in Mayfair. Step into one of London’s most prestigious kitchens and support the delivery of exceptional quality and authentic Greek-Mediterranean flavors at our renowned luxury dining destination.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a high-end, standalone restaurant, preferably with a focus on Greek and Mediterranean cuisine.

  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

  • Fluency in English; additional languages are advantageous

  • Currently residing in the UK with full legal right to work.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head Chef in overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring the preparation and presentation of dishes meet the restaurant's high standards.

  • Supervise and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.

  • Contribute to the creation and refinement of menus.

  • Ensure consistency and quality in all dishes, maintaining the restaurant's reputation for excellence.

  • Manage kitchen inventory, order supplies, and maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
