An established industry player is seeking a passionate Sous Chef to join their luxury 4-star hotel. A Sous Chef is required at a stunning luxury 4* country house hotel which operates a fine dining restaurant, a separate restaurant for lunches and afternoon teas, a bar for light meals as well as being a popular venue for afternoon teas, weddings and functions. In this role of Sous Chef, you will be expected to support, develop, and train a brigade of 15 chefs across the kitchen preparing seasonal, Modern British dishes to the high standards that the customers of the venue expect. As a result, this Sous Chef role will require you to adapt to a number of different cooking styles whilst maintaining the day-to-day management of the kitchen. You will be responsible for menu development, costing, and tasked with providing an appetising modern flavour.
Requirements:
CVs will be considered from Sous Chefs; it is important that they highlight experience working in busy award-winning 4* Hotels serving different dining operations and busy banqueting operations for at least 2 years. A Sous Chef with a strong character who has the drive and ability to push forward standards, be responsible for junior staff development, and ensure high levels of food standards are achieved.
