Job summary

Browns Brasserie and Bar in Wilmslow is seeking a Sous Chef to lead a kitchen section, train a capable team and step up in the Head Chef's absence. You’ll be at the heart of delivering classically British dining and great guest experiences, with opportunities to advance within Mitchells & Butlers.

The role emphasizes team leadership, food ordering, stock control and adherence to health and hygiene standards, in a busy Brasserie setting.

Responsibilities

• Be driven to smash targets with your team.
• Train and inspire your team to deliver food to be proud of.
• Support your Head Chef with food ordering, food preparation and stock control.
• Have mastered the art of working with a branded menu.
• Have confidence in managing Chefs and the wider Kitchen Team.
• Oversee that your team conforms to health and hygiene regulations.
