Gill Cooke Personnel Ltd T/A The Recruitment Group is recruiting a Sous Chef for an established educational establishment in Oxford. The role involves working closely with the Head Chef to run the kitchen and deliver high-quality food and service.

Salary £38,000–£40,000 per annum, 40 hours per week, on-site in Oxford, with benefits including 38 days holiday, a free meal on duty, pension, transport loan, cycle to work scheme, and a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Sous Chef, Second Chef or similar.
• Good knowledge of food hygiene, HACCP and allergen control.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and use your own initiative.
• Professional, positive and flexible approach.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Chef with the daily running of the kitchen.

Are you an experienced chef looking for your next opportunity? We're recruiting on behalf of an established and prestigious educational establishment in Oxford is seeking a Sous Chef to join its Catering department.

Working closely with the Head Chef, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, helping to deliver high-quality food and excellent customer service.

Duties include:

• Assist the Head Chef with the daily running of the kitchen.
