Job summary

Harvester Running Horse in Maidstone is seeking a hands-on Sous Chef who loves great food, trains people, and leads a kitchen team. You will run a section, ensuring your team works as one and stepping in for the Head Chef when required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a kitchen leadership role.
• Ability to train and inspire staff to deliver quality food.
• Experience with stock control, food ordering and cost management.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and HACCP standards.

Responsibilities

• Be driven to smash targets with your team.
• Train and inspire your team to deliver food to be proud of.
• Support your Head Chef with food ordering, food preparation and stock control.
• Master the art of working with a branded menu and maintaining consistency.
• Confidently manage Chefs and the wider Kitchen Team.
• Oversee adherence to health and hygiene regulations.
