Job summary

EGO - Wyke is seeking a dedicated Sous Chef to lead a section, train staff, and step in for the Head Chef when needed. You will run a team, ensure smooth service, and contribute to a warm, welcoming guest experience across our Mediterranean-inspired menus.

Qualifications

• Experience as sous chef or in a senior kitchen role within hospitality.
• Ability to lead and develop a kitchen team.
• Understanding of stock management and cost controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate your kitchen team to achieve targets.
• Coach and inspire chefs to consistently deliver high-quality dishes.
• Assist Head Chef with food ordering, prep, and stock control.
• Execute a branded menu with consistency and flair.
• Oversee kitchen operations and supervise wider kitchen staff.
• Ensure compliance with health and hygiene regulations.
