We are seeking a passionate Sous Chef to join our team at BaxterStorey, located in London, offering up to £37,783 per annum for a 40-hour week, Monday to Friday. The role involves collaborating with our culinary team to craft flavorful dishes, supervising kitchen staff, assisting in menu planning, and maintaining high standards of food safety and presentation. Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Head Chef in food prep, production, and service.
  • Ensure quality and presentation meet standards.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring safety and sanitation.
  • Contribute to menu planning considering dietary needs and seasonal ingredients.
  • Manage stock control and ordering.
  • Support delivery for retail, events, and themed dinners.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety in the kitchen.
  • Assist with administrative tasks like scheduling and budgeting.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and techniques.
  • Lead with positivity, teamwork, and leadership qualities.
