What You’ll Be Doing:

Team Leadership: Lead, inspire, and develop your team to deliver exceptional food consistently, while fostering a positive and professional kitchen culture.

People Development: Mentor junior chefs and kitchen team members, nurturing their growth and supporting their career progression.

Operational Excellence: Support the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, ensuring service runs smoothly and standards remain sky-high.

Consistency & Quality: Uphold The Blues Kitchen’s commitment to fresh, flavourful food with spot-on presentation – every plate, every time.

Hygiene & Compliance: Maintain impeccable standards of cleanliness, safety, and food hygiene, ensuring full compliance across your section and the wider kitchen.

What We’re Looking For:

Experienced Leader: Proven experience as a Sous Chef or strong CDP ready to step up, with a background in high-volume, quality-driven kitchens.

People-Focused: A natural leader who thrives on building strong teams, giving constructive feedback, and bringing out the best in others.

Detail-Oriented: You know that consistency is king – from portion control to presentation, nothing slips through the cracks.

Calm Under Pressure: Steady hands and clear thinking during busy service – you're confident, composed, and cool in the heat of the kitchen.
