Job summary

Mitchells & Butlers PLC in Lasswade, Scotland is seeking a Sous Chef to lead a kitchen section, train the team and support the Head Chef with ordering, prep and stock control. You will drive high standards, deliver consistent meals and help maintain brand menus across our Vintage Inns and other brands.

• Experience leading a kitchen section and managing a team.
• Ability to work in a busy kitchen to deliver quality food.
• Support Head Chef with ordering, prep and stock control.

• Be driven to smash targets with your team.
• Train and inspire your team to deliver food to be proud of.
• Support your Head Chef with food ordering, food preparation and stock control.
• Have mastered the art of working with a branded menu.
• Have confidence in managing Chefs and the wider Kitchen Team.
• Oversee that your team conforms to health and hygiene regulations.
