Job summary

Harvester - Kings Head is recruiting a Sous Chef who is passionate about great food and developing people. You will run a section, lead the team, and step in for the Head Chef when needed.

The Kings Head is part of Harvester, known for fresh rotisserie chicken, grills and endless salad bar. We offer flexible shifts, staff discounts, Wagestream access, funded qualifications, and clear progression opportunities within Mitchells & Butlers.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a kitchen team in a busy pub/restaurant.
• Ability to train and develop chefs and kitchen staff.

Responsibilities

• Be driven to smash targets with your team.
• Train and inspire your team to deliver food to be proud of.
• Support your Head Chef with food ordering, food preparation and stock control.
• Have mastered the art of working with a branded menu.
• Have confidence in managing Chefs and the wider Kitchen Team.
• Oversee that your team conforms to health and hygiene regulations.
