A popular pub company is seeking a passionate Sous Chef to join their kitchen team in Fakenham. You will work closely with the Head Chef and lead kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food and service. Qualifications

  • Previous branded experience in a Sous Chef or Commis Chef role is essential.
  • Be accountable for running the line during service.
  • Ability to oversee and develop the kitchen team.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Head Chef in managing all aspects of the kitchen.
  • Ensure high standards of food quality and service.
  • Develop kitchen team skills and maintain an engaging atmosphere.

It’s time to turn up the heat in our kitchen! Leading by example, you’ll ensure hot, quality food that you and the team can be proud of gets presented to the pass each and every time.

As Sous Chef you’ll:

  • Be right in the action in our kitchen, second in command to our Head Chef – stepping up and covering for them when they’re not on shift.
  • Offer previous branded experience in a similar role or as an experienced Commis Chef.
  • Assist our Head Chef in managing all aspects of the kitchen.
  • Accountable for running the line during service.
  • Oversee, organise, and encourage the kitchen team - helping to develop their skills.
  • Be passionate about maintaining the highest standards of food and service.
