This is an exciting opportunity for a talented and ambitious Sous Chef to join the culinary team at Principality Stadium, one of the UK's most iconic sports and entertainment venues. Working alongside the Stadium Executive Chef and Head Chef, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional food experiences across conference and events, premium hospitality, retail catering, and major sporting and entertainment events.
As a hands-on leader, you will support the day-to-day management of the main kitchen while driving food quality, innovation, and operational excellence. This role offers the opportunity to develop retail food concepts, lead and inspire a high-performing team, and contribute to the delivery of world-class hospitality experiences in a fast-paced, high-volume environment where no two days are the same.
Proven Sous Chef experience within a high-volume hospitality, stadium, events, arena, hotel, or conference and banqueting environment.
Strong Conference & Events catering expertise, with experience delivering large-scale hospitality and event operations to exceptional standards.
Commercial and retail food development experience, including menu creation, food innovation, cost control, and driving revenue growth through food offerings.
Effective leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate, coach, develop, and manage high-performing kitchen teams.
Comprehensive knowledge of food safety and compliance, including HACCP, allergen management, food hygiene, and Health & Safety legislation.
