Job summary

Rosa's Thai is seeking a confident Sous-Chef to support the Head Chef in leading the kitchen. You’ll own the food, the team, and the standards, ensuring every dish is prepared with care.

You’ll bring strong Asian cuisine experience, mastery of the wok, and the ability to train junior chefs while maintaining high standards across prep, service and cleanliness. This is a hands-on role with clear growth within a growing brand.

• Experience leading a kitchen and managing a busy service.
• Strong experience with Asian cuisine and wok cooking.
• Commitment to high standards of food hygiene.

Back then, they couldn't afford new signage, so they kept the name above the door of an old East End café. Rosa's Thai Café was reborn.

The role

We're looking for a confident, hands-on Sous-Chef to help the Head chef lead the kitchen.

You'll take ownership of the food, the team, and the standards. Every dish, every service, every detail

What you'll do

• Lead the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence
• Run service with pace, focus and control
• Deliver every dish with consistency and care
• Train and support junior chefs
• Keep standards high across prep, service and cleanliness
• Take ownership and help drive the kitchen forward

This role is for you if you

• Love the heat, pace and precision of the wok

• Have strong experience of cooking Asian cuisine and confident in utilising a wok
