Job description

We burst onto the restaurant scene in 1997, shaking up London and introducing a new way of eating. Part of our innovation was the 'kaiten' conveyor belt and colour-coded dishes that made us famous.

We're committed to serving fresh, authentic Japanese food. While sushi is our signature, we also offer a variety of hot street foods, from traditional classics to innovative fusion dishes, all rich in aromatic flavors and umami. Today, we operate over 70 restaurants worldwide, more than 300 kiosks across the UK, and sell grocery products and pre-packaged sushi in major UK supermarkets.

What you will be doing:

The Sous Chef is responsible for ensuring a great experience for both our team and guests. You are passionate about our food and support the management team across the restaurant. You foster a positive environment, ensuring team and guest satisfaction, and lead shifts effectively. You develop the team to achieve excellence and understand all aspects of the kitchen operations. You are proficient in all kitchen sections, from fish cutting to rice cooking, sushi rolling, and daily kitchen prep. You are committed to continually improving our food quality and maintaining a safe kitchen and restaurant environment.
