Job summary

Miller & Carter - Brighton is seeking a Sous Chef with a passion for great food and people development. You’ll run a kitchen section, guide your team, and step up in the Head Chef’s absence while upholding our branded menu and quality standards.

Join us to lead, train, and motivate your team, manage food ordering, stock control, and ensure health and hygiene compliance in a busy steak-focused kitchen. Brighton location, competitive opportunities available.

• Experience as Sous Chef or similar in a busy kitchen.
• Passion for great food and team development.
• Ability to lead a section and train staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead a kitchen section and keep team cohesive.
• Train and inspire the team to deliver high-quality dishes.
• Assist Head Chef with food ordering and stock control.
• Ensure adherence to branded menu and quality standards.
• Manage Chefs and wider kitchen team.
• Ensure health and hygiene regulations are followed.
