Job summary

Prezzo Ltd in Bath is seeking a high-energy Sous Chef to be number two in the kitchen, supporting the Head Chef and deputising when needed. You will help lead the team and deliver Italian dishes with pride, while maintaining the high standards Prezzo is known for across the UK locations.

You'll manage stock, reduce waste and kitchen costs and work closely with the General Manager to create a great guest experience.

Qualifications

• Kitchen leadership - Experience as a Sous Chef or strong Chef looking to step up in a busy, fast-paced kitchen.
• Commercial know-how - You understand stock, waste and kitchen costs and know how to support an efficient operation.
• Great standards - You care about food quality, consistency, cleanliness and food safety/HACCP.
• People skills - You're a positive, hands-on leader who enjoys coaching people and building a strong kitchen team.
• Pride in every plate - You understand that a great guest experience starts in the kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a brigade as number two to the Head Chef.
• Support Head Chef to drive kitchen standards and guest experience.
• Assist with stock control, waste management and food costs.
• Collaborate with General Manager to help the restaurant succeed.
• Deputise for Head Chef when required.

£13.91-£14.94 per hour, plus tronc. Work that works for you You'll support your Head Chef in leading the kitchen team and with the kitchen rota.
