Langdale Leisure Ltd. is seeking a skilled Sous Chef to join Stove Kitchen at Langdale Hotel and Spa in Ambleside. The role focuses on creating exceptional culinary experiences, supporting high standards of food quality, and exceeding guest expectations.

The position is on-site, with a 39-hour week and a salary between £31,481.31 and £37,723.71, dependent on experience. Live-in accommodation may be available for exceptional candidates, and a permanent full-time contract is offered.

• Identify and mitigate potential risks within kitchen operations.
• Develop and propose seasonal menu ideas based on guest trends.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, food safety, and kitchen organisation.
• Actively participate in day-to-day kitchen operations.
• Support and mentor junior chefs, promoting a collaborative team environment.

Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled Sous Chef to join the team at Stove Kitchen. The role is responsible for helping to create exceptional culinary experiences and is a key position within the kitchen brigade, supporting consistently high standards of food quality while playing an important role in exceeding guest expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent delivery ofhigh-quality dishesacross all services (breakfast to dinner)

• Assist withstaff training, scheduling, and performance management

• Supportmenu preparation, inventory management, and cost control

• Identify and mitigate potential risks within kitchen operations
