What You Bring

  • Experience as a Sous Chef or similar role, eager to advance your career
  • Experience with fresh ingredients and strong kitchen skills (food prep, hygiene, knife skills)
  • Hands-on work ethic, leading by example to uphold high standards
  • Driven and proactive in overcoming challenges
  • Knowledge of KPIs, decision-making in the absence of the Head Chef, and managing labour and stock
  • Excellent communication skills to manage stakeholders and build trust
  • Understanding of rota scheduling, sales, labour forecasting, and HR practices
  • Experience in training and recruiting kitchen staff, including apprentices and junior chefs
