Job summary

Insight Select is seeking a Sourcing Manager in Milton Keynes on a hybrid basis to drive strategic sourcing initiatives for large business needs. You will work with suppliers, run tender processes, and negotiate contracts to secure value, quality, and continuity of supply.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in sourcing or procurement positions.
• Experience managing tender processes.
• Experience managing high value tenders over £300,000 in value.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sourcing initiatives to optimise supplier performance, reduce costs, and ensure continuity of supply.
• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favourable pricing, quality, and service agreements.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships while monitoring performance through key metrics and regular business reviews.
• Run fair and clear tender processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Procurement, Operations, Finance, and Engineering, to align sourcing strategies with business objectives.
• Analyze market trends, supplier capabilities, and risk factors to support informed sourcing decisions and mitigate supply chain disruptions.
• Lead cost-saving and process improvement projects by leveraging spend analysis, supplier consolidation, and competitive bidding processes.
