Job summary

Atlas Copco Group is hiring for a Sourcing & Supplier Transfer Specialist. This hybrid role (office/remote) supports Dromos sourcing programs, supplier transfers, and RFQ activities while coordinating cross-functional teams across the globe. A background in engineering or supply chain and SAP exposure is preferred.

The role emphasizes supplier compliance, data integrity, and continuous improvement, with opportunities to influence cost, quality, delivery, and sustainability outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Procurement, or Business.
• Minimum 3 years experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain.
• Experience managing sourcing projects, supplier transfers, or localization.
• Experience working in cross-functional international teams.
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes and engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Fluent English, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Support and execute sourcing program Dromos.
• Lead and coordinate sourcing activities associated with supplier transfers.
• Support supplier selection, RFQ activities, supplier evaluations, and commercial assessments.
• Track sourcing project milestones, risks, actions, and deliverables.
• Manage supplier relationships to ensure compliance with quality, delivery, cost, regulatory, and sustainability requirements including contract management.
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Procurement, and Operations teams to resolve supplier issues and drive corrective actions.
• Create, maintain, and update SAP master data including Source list, Purchasing information records, Vendor master data, Material master records.
• Ensure all sourcing activities comply with Atlas Copco Business Code of Conduct, ethical sourcing standards, and applicable corporate policies.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships and communicate sourcing progress, risks, and mitigation plans to support successful project delivery.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction, process improvement, and efficiency gains.
• Contribute to the development of sourcing tools, reports, and best practices.

Mission/Purpose of the Job

To support VSS sourcing, procurement, and supply chain activities by leading and coordinating sourcing projects, supplier transfers, and supply continuity initiatives. The role is responsible for ensuring supplier compliance, maintaining accurate SAP master data, supporting cost, quality and delivery objectives, and ensuring all sourcing activities are conducted in accordance with Atlas Copco's Business Code of Conduct and procurement standards.

• Minimum 3 years experience in sourcing, procurement, supply chain, or supplier development within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience managing sourcing projects, supplier transfers, or product localisation activities preferred.
• Experience working within cross-functional international teams.
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes and engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent English, both written and verbal.
