Job summary

Calibre Global Consulting is seeking an experienced Sonographer to join their ultrasound service in North London. The successful candidate will perform various ultrasound examinations such as abdominal, scrotal, and gynaecological scans, ensuring high standards of patient care. A postgraduate qualification in Medical Ultrasound and recent HCPC registration are essential, and candidates must have independently conducted at least 900 scans in the past year.

Qualifications

• Current HCPC registration required.
• Experience in performing and reporting ultrasound examinations.
• Minimum of 900 ultrasound scans reported in the last 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Assist Ultrasound Clinical Lead with organization and supervision of junior staff.
• Ensure ultrasound examinations are carried out efficiently and to required standards.
• Work with a Clinical Support Worker as part of a team.

Sonographer Opportunity in North London

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, motivated, and experienced sonographer to join our ultrasound service based in North London.

• You will assist the Ultrasound Clinical Lead with the organisation and supervision of junior/new staff within ultrasound.
• To provide a high standard of work as agreed by the service demands.
• To ensure that ultrasound examinations of patients are carried out efficiently, consistent with the required standards.
• With the exception of Obstetrics,
• The candidates should possess various skills and be experienced in performing/reporting the following sonographic examinations:

• Abdominal
• Scrotal
• Renal
• Gynaecology (Transvaginal, Transabdominal)
• MSK
• Vascular

You must have current HCPC registration and ultrasound experience within the UK.

Applicants must be able to scan and report independently but also work as part of a team with a Clinical Support Worker.

The successful applicant will have obtained a postgraduate qualification in Medical Ultrasound and completed a minimum of 900 ultrasound scans reported in the last 12 months.
