Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of ultrasound exams including, but not limited to, obstetrical, abdominal, and vascular ultrasound.
- Provide thorough and accurate imaging while ensuring patient safety and comfort during procedures.
- Analyze and assess ultrasound images to identify abnormalities and prepare preliminary reports for physicians.
- Maintain equipment and ensure adherence to safety standards and protocols.
- Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and patients regarding procedures and findings.
- Maintain patient records and documentation in accordance with healthcare regulations.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in sonography techniques and technology through continuing education and professional development.
Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
- Registered with the ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) or relevant equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a practicing Sonographer.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathology related to ultrasound diagnostics.
- Excellent technical skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and healthcare staff.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Proficiency with ultrasound equipment and software applications.

- Education: Degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field (required)
