Ultrasound Advanced Practitioner

We are seeking an Advanced Practitioner to perform and report on a range of ultrasound examinations, providing high-quality care to patients and relatives. The role involves professional leadership, education, and training of self and others, working across boundaries to improve patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Performing a variety of scans and reporting on highly complex images, differentiating between normal and pathological findings.
2. Performing biopsies and other interventional procedures (if suitably qualified).
3. Offering expertise to clinicians and junior team members.
4. Working within a multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent service.
5. Ensuring high standards of patient care at all times.
6. Leading education and training initiatives.
7. Collaborating with healthcare professionals across medical boundaries.
8. Supporting the development of a cross-site ultrasound service and work patterns for efficient delivery.
9. Undertaking out-of-hours duties as required.
