Job summary

Bar Blondie in North London is seeking a Sommelier for a part-time role, offering £15.00-£17.50 per hour (includes tronc) DOE. You will lead wine service on the floor and collaborate with the kitchen and management to evolve the wine list.

Ideal candidates will have at least two years in hospitality and WSET Level 2/3 progress. The role includes ongoing wine training, tastings, supplier events, staff discounts, and 28 days holiday.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years in hospitality experience.
• WSET Level 3 wine knowledge preferred or progress towards.
• Experience in premium wine bar/restaurant environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Proven experience as a Sommelier or in a comparable role within a premium wine bar or restaurant environment.
• Leads the wine service on the floor, ensuring a refined and engaging guest experience.
• Works closely with kitchen and management to evolve the wine list, including pairings and seasonal updates.
• Demonstrates excellent communication to educate and inspire guests and team members.
• Plays a key role in training junior staff in wine knowledge and service standards.
