Job summary

BAR BLONDIE - NEW WINE BAR & RESTAURANT is seeking a Supervisor to join the opening team in North London. You will support the GM/AGM, supervise front-of-house operations, and drive guest satisfaction with expert wine knowledge.

With minimum 2 years in premium hospitality and WSET Level 2 (Level 3 preferred), you will lead a passionate team, manage stock, and ensure flawless service from opening through close, while delivering memorable guest experiences in a vibrant wine-centric concept.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years’ experience in a supervisory or floor management role within a premium wine bar or restaurant environment.
• WSET Level 2 qualification required; Level 3 preferred.
• Experience guiding guests through wine list and service excellence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily bar operations and act as manager on duty when required.
• Maintain wine knowledge and guide guests through bottles and wines by the glass.
• Open and close the venue, complete daily checklists and maintain reports.
• Brief the team before service, communicating bookings, VIPs, menu changes and events.
• Develop stock management and sales strategies for the wine program.
