Job summary

Savoy Grill by Gordon Ramsay in London is seeking a passionate Sommelier to join our acclaimed team. You will recommend and sell wines to guests, pairing them with meals and delivering memorable dining experiences.

WSET Level 2 or equivalent is preferred; you will train junior staff, share knowledge, and contribute to maintaining the highest service standards across the restaurant.

• Strong wine knowledge with guest service focus.

Guests can choose from an array of classic dishes including Gordon’s signature Beef Wellington and Rum Baba, flambéed at the table for a little bit of dining drama. A fantastic showcase of the highest quality British produce.

We have a fantastic opportunity for a talented Sommelier to join our passionate team at the Savoy Grill by Gordon Ramsay at the iconic Savoy Hotel.

What you do as a Sommelier:

• You pride yourself on having a great understanding of wine and guests, recommending and selling wines to our guests that will complement their tastes and meal, creating a memorable guest experience
• You ideally hold WSET L2 qualification or equivalent
• You are eager to learn from the Head Sommelier and support senior members of the team
• You are confident in training, developing, and passing on your wine knowledge to the more junior members of the team
• You naturally enjoy building rapport with others and working as part of a team
• You are keen to use your interpersonal and organisational skills, energy, and passion for wine and beverage to ensure the highest standards are constantly achieved
