Lexia Education Services Ltd in Somerset is seeking a Youth Mentor to support students facing SEMH and SEN in school and community settings. You will provide individualized mentoring, building trusted relationships with young people who need consistent role models.

You may come from youth work or related fields, and if you bring empathy and commitment, we’ll train you fully and empower you to grow in a role that genuinely changes lives.

Responsibilities

• Mentor 1:1 or in small groups supporting SEMH and SEN students.
• Encourage expression through creativity using art, music, sport, or your own skills.
• Support emotional regulation with calm guidance and resilience-building.
• Promote positive behaviour using trauma-informed approaches and boundaries.
• Collaborate with SENCOs, teachers, and pastoral teams for tailored support.
