Job summary

St Austell Brewery is seeking a Sales Development Manager to lead a Somerset portfolio across pubs, clubs and venues, with revenue responsibility over £2.5m. You will build strong customer partnerships and identify opportunities to drive growth across our beer, wine and spirit ranges.

This high-visibility role demands excellent relationship skills, a proven field-sales track record and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Experience in field-based sales or account management.
• Background within FMCG, drinks, hospitality or related sector.
• Proven track record of developing existing accounts and delivering sales growth.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to identify profitable opportunities.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building and influencing skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop a portfolio of key customer accounts.
• Identify opportunities to increase volume, revenue and profitability across the territory.
• Increase distribution and account base through new business wins within the region.
• Promote our beers, wines, spirits and soft drinks.
• Conduct regular business reviews and maintain call plans and customer journeys.
