As a Solutions Professional focusing on Digital Workspace, you will work as a member of Architecture Services department to translate a client's business requirements into innovative, thoughtful and well-designed solutions either on premises or via a public or private cloud offerings. The role requires demonstrating the skills of a subject matter expert, which means constantly striving to be at the top of your game in the latest Digital Workspace Modern Management technologies such as; JAMF, Microsoft Intune/365 and Omnissa Workspace ONE. Although Digital Workspace should be your primary skillset, being able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding across other technology towers would be advantageous.

As Solutions Professional - Modern Management, you'll beresponsible for:

• Helping to understand, scope and document customers' business and technical requirements
• Producing designs, configurations and input into solutions proposals, RFPs and other documentation
• Underwriting and acting as technical design authority for designs and proposals
• Collaborating with other Softcat resources to develop cross discipline solutions
• Create design estimates, quotations and bills of material where appropriate
• Be able to present complex information clearly, concisely and in a manner that will be understood at all levels of business including presentations and whiteboarding
• Maintain an accurate and timely updated pipeline and record of work completed through Services CRM systems
• Continually demonstrate the skills and abilities of a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Digital Workspace including, Mobile Device Management, Unified Endpoint Management and other Workspace technologies.

We'd love you to have

• A proven background in Presales, Professional Services and Architecture Services from your previous Subject Matter Expert role
• Experience of conducting customer meetings, whiteboarding and documenting solutions
• A passion for technology and for making technology work for businesses
• Ability to understand and ratify technical designs at high level
• Excellent communications skills, particularly with customers
• Excellent time management skills and attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines whilst maintaining the highest quality of output
• A desire to share your knowledge and experience with those around you, particularly the junior members of the team
