The Role:

As a Solutions Engineer, you will play a key role in projects and be responsible for designing solutions to various real-world problems. The solutions team takes complex requirements, determines the necessary AI components, specifies models, and produces solutions that work in customer environments. Your role involves taking basic AI model outputs, applying additional processing, and delivering actionable outputs—such as detecting a person and their interactions to trigger events or alerts. While expertise in Machine Learning is not mandatory, a good understanding of models, inference, and interpreting results is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the product team to understand new use case requirements and develop suitable solutions.
• Work with the ML models team to specify required or modified models for the solution.
• Build upon models with additional logic to interpret, combine, or enhance information.
• Test and deploy end-to-end solutions in real customer environments to ensure effectiveness.

Qualifications:

Essential

• Strong software engineering and programming skills in Python, with experience in ML/CV environments (e.g., Numpy, OpenCV).
• Experience with CI/CD systems and test-driven development.
• In-depth knowledge of Linux operating systems.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive, enthusiastic attitude.
• Customer-focused with a desire to see solutions operational in production.

Desirable

• Understanding of Machine Learning and Deep Learning concepts, especially computer vision models.
• Experience with frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, or OpenVino.
• Knowledge of GPU acceleration and optimization.
