Role Overview

This Solution Designer contract role is aimed at individuals who can translate complex business needs into robust technical designs. The successful candidate will define solution architecture across multiple systems, develop design documentation, and offer strategic direction to delivery teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and document end-to-end solution architecture across interconnected applications.
• Create and maintain an architectural roadmap aligned to wider enterprise strategies.
• Translate business and functional requirements into detailed, actionable technical designs.
• Collaborate closely with business analysts, developers, project managers, and security experts.
• Lead architectural decisions and provide hands-on support to delivery teams during design, development, and implementation.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, reliable, secure, and fit for purpose in complex enterprise environments.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Demonstrable expertise in designing and implementing IT solutions within enterprise environments.
