Job summary

Qualifications

• 6+ years in solutions architecture, data engineering, technical pre-sales, or senior hands-on role.
• Strong coding proficiency in Python and SQL with live coding and debugging.
• Deep expertise in distributed data systems architecture, pipelines, and lakehouse patterns.
• Proven ability to lead architecture discussions with senior stakeholders and run design reviews.
• Experience deploying production solutions on public clouds (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Excellent communication to translate architectures into business value for technical and executive audiences.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end technical strategy for accounts, from discovery through production deployment and growth.
• Lead complex architecture discussions for data engineering, ML/AI, and real-time analytics.
• Serve as trusted advisor to customer architects, engineering leads, and Directors.
• Drive technical wins by demonstrating Databricks' differentiation with custom solutions.
• Develop emerging technical specialization and orchestrate cross-functional resources to deliver solutions.
• Influence product direction by providing feedback on customer requirements and gaps.

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a quantitative discipline (or equivalent experience)

6+ years in solutions architecture / senior technical role
