Job summary

Opus Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Solutions Architect for Board Assortment Planning in Reading with hybrid work. The role is an initial 6-month contract offering £500-£545 per day inside IR35.

You will own end-to-end Board AP architecture, coordinate data integration across platforms and lead governance across multiple workstreams. The ideal candidate combines strong solution architecture with stakeholder management, performance-focused design, and risk assessment.

Solutions Architect (Board Assortment Planning) / Reading (Hybrid) / 6 months / £500 - £545pd (Inside IR35)

I am currently looking for an Solutions Architect skilled working with Board Assortment Planning to join a consultancy client of ours on an initial 6 month contract with hybrid working in Reading 1-2 days per week. This has been determined inside IR35.

Skills & experience needed:

• Strong Solution Architecture experience, ideally TOGAF aligned.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• End-to-end ownership of Board Assortment Planning (Board AP) architecture.
• Integration and data architecture expertise across enterprise platforms.
• Experience defining solution blueprints, architecture standards and governance.
• Strong understanding of master data, data flows and integration patterns.
• Ability to challenge vendors and provide technical architecture leadership.
• Experience designing for performance, scalability, resilience and operational readiness.
• Proven risk management, technical debt assessment and incident investigation skills.
• Experience coordinating architecture across large-scale transformation programmes and multiple workstreams.
