Job summary

Cathcart Technology is seeking a Solutions Architect for a 6‑month initial contract, with hybrid working (2 days onsite) in a retail tech environment. You will lead the design and delivery of technology solutions across the supply chain lifecycle, partnering with Trading, Supply Chain, Store Operations and IT to solve complex business challenges.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in Solution Architecture in supply chain or retail focussed organisations.
• Strong understanding of product data management, product lifecycles, stock/inventory management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Supplier management experience.
• Experience designing integrations (APIs, middleware, event-driven architecture).
• Experience designing cloud platforms (Primarily AWS).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Business Analyst(s) and Business Stakeholder(s) to translate requirements and business problems into appropriate solutions
• Design end to end solutions across enterprise applications for integration and data flows.
• Contribute to architecture forums, including the development of strategy and principles
• Document technical processes and designs in line with architecture standards
• Provide architectural governance across projects and programmes
• Evaluate and recommend technology platforms, vendors, and tools through a structured process where required

An experienced Solution Architect to work as part of the architecture team and lead the design and delivery of technology solutions across the supply chain lifecycle within a retail environment. You will partner with stakeholders across Trading, Supply Chain, Store Operations and IT to design scalable, practical solutions that solve complex business challenges.
