Job summary

Amazon Web Services is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect in the UK to help accelerate complex cloud projects for betting and gaming customers. You will align technology with business goals, build executive-level relationships, and drive adoption of AWS architectures and reference patterns.

The role involves creating technical content, leading architecture reviews, and evangelising AWS technologies through workshops and talks, while growing expertise across AI, ML, serverless, analytics,

Qualifications

• Experience in software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data and analytics.
• Experience in design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• Experience in IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries.
• Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries.
• Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
• Experience working with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers to accelerate complex projects and align technological solutions with long-term objectives.
• Build relationships with customers, including the C-suite and stakeholders, to establish ourselves as trusted advisors.
• Share the voice of the customer to inform the roadmap of AWS features.
• Participate in the creation and sharing of best practices, technical content, and new reference architectures.
• Evangelise and educate about AWS technology through workshops, meetups, public speaking, and similar activities.
• Develop areas of depth in technical domains relevant to customer outcomes and our interests.
• Manage the overall technical relationship between customers and AWS.
• Lead architecture reviews, white-boarding sessions, demos, and technical workshops.
• Engage at all levels of the organisation to influence decision-makers.
• Collaborate with account management, professional services, support, and the AWS partner ecosystem.
• Create technical content and reference architectures across use cases including AI and machine learning, serverless and container-based architectures, analytics and big data, DevOps, and security.
