Job summary

Sovereign Network Group (SNG) is seeking a Solution Architect to join our IT team. This hybrid role lets you work from home and in the office two days per week, based at either the Basingstoke or Wembley office, with occasional travel between offices.

You will lead architectural design across platforms, create blueprints and documentation, ensure alignment with standards through the Technical Design Authority, and collaborate with architects, developers and business stakeholders to deliver

Qualifications

• Strong experience in enterprise and solution architecture.
• Knowledge of architecture frameworks like TOGAF.
• Expertise in SaaS platforms, integration, and APIs.
• Understanding of DevOps/SecOps practices and agile development.
• Strong consultancy and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Commercial awareness and a focus on value delivery.

Responsibilities

• Leading the design and development of architectural solutions across platforms.

• Collaborating with other architects to define end-to-end designs, covering systems, data, integration, and security
• Identifying opportunities for optimisation and technology reuse, as well as supporting the evaluation and selection of new products and technologies
• Working with business stakeholders, product owners and business analysts to understand functional and non-functional requirements and interact with other cross-functional teams
• Attending and contributing to technology governance forums and strategic planning discussions
