Job summary

Sovereign Network Group is seeking a Solution Architect to join its IT team in a hybrid role. You will shape end-to-end architectures across platforms, drive value, and ensure governance alignment. Wembley-based or home-based with 2 days in the office, and occasional travel between offices.

You’ll collaborate with business and tech teams, stakeholders, and partners to deliver robust SaaS/API solutions. Hybrid role with occasional travel and a focus on delivering scalable, secure architectures

Qualifications

• Strong consultancy and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience in enterprise and solution architecture.
• Knowledge of architecture frameworks (TOGAF).
• Expertise in SaaS platforms, application integration and APIs.
• Understanding of DevOps/SecOps practices and agile development.

Responsibilities

• Leading the design and development of architectural solutions across platforms
• Creating and maintaining architectural blueprints and technical documentation
• Ensuring solutions align with company goals and technology standards through participation in the Technical Design Authority (TDA).
• Collaborating with other architects to define end-to-end designs, covering systems, data, integration, and security
• Identifying opportunities for optimisation and technology reuse, as well as supporting the evaluation and selection of new products and technologies
• Working with business stakeholders, product owners and business analysts to understand functional and non-functional requirements and interact with other cross-functional teams
• Attending and contributing to technology governance forums and strategic planning discussions
• Strong experience in enterprise and solution architecture
• Knowledge of architecture frameworks (e.g. TOGAF)
• Expertise in SaaS platforms, application integration, and APIs
• Understanding of DevOps/SecOps practices and agile development

The Role
