The Pearson Whiffin Recruitment Group is seeking a Solution Architect – Cloud & Infrastructure in Belfast. This customer-facing, pre-sales role designs and positions complex infrastructure and cloud solutions, translating business challenges into practical technical architectures.

You’ll collaborate with sales teams and customers to create solutions spanning Azure, VMware, hybrid hosting and modern infrastructure offerings, while guiding proposals from concept to close.

Formación

• Strong background in solution architecture and cloud/infrastructure design.
• Experience designing and presenting complex infrastructure solutions.
• Experience in pre-sales and cross-functional collaboration.

Solution Architect – Cloud & Infrastructure

Belfast (Hybrid Working)

We're looking for a talented Solution Architect to join a growing technology business, helping customers transform and modernise their IT environments through innovative, scalable and secure solutions.

Working in a customer-facing, pre-sales capacity, you'll be responsible for designing and positioning complex infrastructure and cloud solutions, translating business challenges into commercially viable technical architectures.

You'll collaborate with sales teams, technical specialists and customers to develop solutions spanning cloud, virtualisation, hybrid hosting and infrastructure modernisation.

You'll bring a strong background in solution architecture, with hands‑on knowledge of:

• Microsoft Azure & Microsoft 365 – cloud architecture, migration and hybrid integration.
• VMware & vSAN – virtualisation, storage and enterprise infrastructure.
• Hybrid Cloud & Hosting – designing solutions across cloud and on-premises environments.
• Cloud-Native Technologies – modern platforms and infrastructure transformation.
• Solution Design & Pre-Sales – experience designing, presenting and selling complex infrastructure solutions.

Experience across any of the following would be a real advantage:

• Cyber Security: Zero Trust, Microsoft Sentinel/SOAR, Microsoft Defender, PAM, vulnerability management and attack surface management.
• IT/OT Security: Understanding of security integration across enterprise and operational technology environments.
• Databases: Knowledge of SQL Server and Oracle.
• Virtualisation: Exposure to Oracle Database Appliance (ODA) and KVM.
