Job summary

Adecco Portugal in Belfast is seeking an experienced Solution Architect to join a leading technology team delivering complex infrastructure and cloud transformation solutions for enterprise-scale customers.

You will engage with customers, understand business challenges, and design innovative solutions across cloud, infrastructure and security environments, shaping IT estates and accelerating digital transformation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect or similar role.
• Experience designing and selling complex infrastructure solutions.
• Strong expertise across cloud, on-prem, hybrid hosting and security.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end infrastructure and cloud solutions for enterprise customers.
• Lead technical workshops and translate business requirements into scalable designs.
• Produce high-quality architecture and design documentation.
• Support customer engagements, bids and solution presentations.
• Provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with engineering, security, delivery and project teams.
• Ensure solutions are secure, resilient, scalable and aligned to best practice.
• Drive infrastructure modernisation and cloud adoption initiatives.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Solution Architect to join a leading technology team delivering complex infrastructure and cloud transformation solutions for enterprise-scale customers.

We're looking for a commercially minded architect who can engage with customers, understand business challenges, and design innovative solutions across cloud, infrastructure and security environments. You'll play a key role in both solution design and customer engagement, helping organisations modernise their IT estates and accelerate digital transformation.

What You'll Be Doing

• Designing end-to-end infrastructure and cloud solutions for enterprise customers.
• Leading technical workshops and translating business requirements into scalable solutions.
• Producing high-quality architecture and design documentation.
• Supporting customer engagements, bids and solution presentations.
• Providing technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborating with engineering, security, delivery and project teams.
• Ensuring solutions are secure, resilient, scalable and aligned to best practice.
• Driving infrastructure modernisation and cloud adoption initiatives.

What We're Looking For

Essential Experience

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect, Infrastructure Architect or similar role.
• Experience designing and selling complex infrastructure solutions.
• Strong expertise across: Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, VMware / vSAN, Cloud-native platforms, Hybrid cloud and hosting solutions, Infrastructure transformation and modernisation programmes
• Strong stakeholder management and customer-facing communication skills.
• Experience producing high and low-level design documentation.
