Job summary

Morson Edge is recruiting for a Unified Communications Solution Lead / Architect on a 12-month contract to support a defence client. The role focuses on the technical design, integration and delivery of secure UC solutions including voice, video conferencing and collaboration.

The successful candidate will have strong UC architecture experience, deliver high- and low-level designs, and lead technical delivery while engaging with stakeholders to meet requirements.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in Unified Communications solution design or architecture.
• Proven ability to produce technical HLDs and LLDs.
• In-depth knowledge of SIP, VoIP, call routing and telephony integration.
• Active DV clearance and UK Eyes Only eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical design and delivery of Unified Communications solutions.
• Produce and maintain High-Level Designs (HLDs) and Low-Level Designs (LLDs).
• Design solutions involving SIP, VoIP, call routing and telephony integration.
• Support the integration and deployment of voice, video conferencing and collaboration services.
• Act as a key technical point of contact throughout solution delivery.
• Work closely with technical teams and stakeholders to ensure solutions meet requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and support throughout the design and implementation lifecycle.

Contract: 12 months

Rate: £109.25 per hour

IR35 Status: Outside IR35

Security Clearance: Active DV clearance and sole British citizenship required

The Opportunity

We are recruiting for an experienced Unified Communications Solution Lead / Architect to support a defence client on a 12-month contract.

The role will focus on the technical design, integration and delivery of secure Unified Communications solutions, encompassing voice, video conferencing and collaboration technologies.

The successful candidate will have a strong technical background in Unified Communications architecture, with experience producing high-level and low-level designs, leading technical delivery and working closely with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the technical design and delivery of Unified Communications solutions.

Desirable Experience

• Experience with cross-domain architectures and communications integration across different security domains.
• Experience working in secure or defence-related environments.
• Exposure to multi-vendor Unified Communications solutions.
