Unified Communications Solution Lead

• Location: Central London - Fully Onsite
• Contract: 12-month rolling contract
• Rate: 100- 105 per hour, Outside IR35
• Clearance: MOD DV Clearance - Essential

The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Unified Communications Solution Lead to join a high-profile secure communications programme in Central London.

You will be responsible for designing and delivering secure, resilient collaboration solutions across complex and highly controlled network environments. The role combines Unified Communications architecture, secure network integration, technical leadership and stakeholder management.

This is an excellent opportunity for a senior UC professional with strong experience across voice, video, collaboration and secure communications environments, who is comfortable operating in a highly secure, mission-critical setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver secure Unified Communications solutions across complex and segregated network environments.
• Produce high-quality High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documentation.
• Architect and integrate voice, video conferencing, collaboration and telephony services.
• Design and support interoperability between multiple UC platforms and communication technologies.
• Work across SIP, VoIP, call routing and telephony integration.
• Act as the technical point of contact, providing technical leadership throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Engage with and manage stakeholders across engineering, architecture, security and delivery teams.
• Support the deployment of resilient, highly available and low-latency communications services.
• Ensure solutions meet stringent security, information assurance and compliance requirements.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering teams to ensure successful implementation and delivery.

Essential Technical Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in Unified Communications architecture and solution design.
• Strong experience producing HLD and LLD design documentation.
• Excellent knowledge of SIP, VoIP, call routing and telephony integration.
• Experience working with Unified Communications platforms.
• Strong background in voice, video conferencing and collaboration service deployment.
• Demonstrable experience acting as a technical point of contact and managing technical stakeholders.
• Experience delivering solutions within complex, secure or highly regulated environments.
• Current MOD DV Clearance - Essential.

Desirable

• Experience in Cross-Domain Architecture.
• Knowledge of Cross-Domain Solutions (CDS), security gateways or multi-level security environments.
• Experience integrating communications across separate or classified network domains.
• Knowledge of H.323, VTC, instant messaging and presence technologies.
• Experience with multi-vendor UC environments and interoperability.
