Job summary

Wipro Technologies is seeking a GCP BigQuery Architect to design scalable data platforms on Google Cloud, lead migrations of data warehouses to GCP, and define end-to-end architectures for ingestion, transformation, governance and reporting.

You will advise clients on cloud modernisation, optimize performance, cost, security, and governance across cloud data solutions, collaborating with stakeholders to turn business requirements into scalable results.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Google BigQuery architecture, optimisation and administration.
• Strong SQL, data modelling and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience with GCP services: Dataflow, Dataproc, Cloud Composer, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage.
• Knowledge of cloud security, IAM, governance and compliance.
• Excellent stakeholder management and translating business requirements into scalable cloud solutions.
• Desirable: Terraform, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable, secure, and high-performing data platforms on Google Cloud and BigQuery.
• Lead migration of enterprise data warehouses and analytics workloads to GCP.
